We wish to grow as a parish community and as an institution in our commitment to racial equity and healing in our world, particularly in the city of Atlanta. Focusing on our life of faith as a church, our city, and our daily lives, we are growing in numerous ways, engaging in leadership development work, prayerful action and advocacy, partnerships near and far, and a gospel message preached with clarity and compassion. We are committed to change over the long term, and invite you to join this journey with grace and joy.
Over the next year, All Saints’ has commissioned a steering committee to discern our racial equity and healing work for the future.
On Sunday, November 21, 2021, Simon Mainwaring and Natosha Reid Rice hosted partners from Emmaus House in Peoplestown to discuss the newest initiative in our work for racial justice and healing in Atlanta. This presentation marks the culmination of a year’s work and we are delighted to invite everyone into this new ministry opportunity as we endeavor to express our faith in the city.

Would you like to talk about race in the context of our faith? That’s our goal in The MICAH Project. Our Mission Is Conversation And Healing about race in our lives, in the church, and in our country. Click the title above to learn more. All Saints’ is a sustaining partner of The Absalom Jones Center for Racial Healing, the Episcopal Church’s national center for racial healing through education, informed action, pilgrimage and dialogue.
